As part of “Tracing Mobility: Cartography and Migration in Networked Space” we will do “Performing Streetview” today. The performance will take place in front of the Haus der Kulturen der Welt. We will gather indoors at 14:00 sharp.
The intention of the performance is to create a panoramic experience in reality that relates to the virtual space of StreetView in a poetic way. Participants will be guided through a virtual tour in Google Earth Streetview in order to then leave the venue and perform a playful exercise in map making using ropes, stones and sand filled bottles, low-tec techniques, invented and used by us before.
